Mackintosh designed decorative schemes for the interiors in 1904–5, and in 1908–10 returned to carry out architectural work and additional interior decoration for Miss Catherine (Kate) Cranston and her husband, John Cochrane. Hous'hill dated originally from the 17th century, was extended in the early 19th century by noted West of Scotland architect, David Hamilton, and by an unidentifed architect before 1870.

decoration, and for the additions and alterations in 1908–10.

designer of the 1904–6 interior schemes.
