John Honeyman & Keppie designed two stands for the department store Pettigrew & Stephens at the Glasgow International Exhibition 1901. One was for displaying lace, the other – oriental or 'Moorish' in style – was for silks and linens.

Authorship: The lace stand was published under Mackintosh's name during his lifetime. The Moorish stall is likely to have been designed by John Keppie, who had a keen interest in Islamic architecture.

1: This sum is identified in the job book as being exclusively for the two exhibition stands. A further £650 paid to the joiner Matthew Henderson included an unspecified amount for the stands.
