Mackintosh designed a bedroom interior with furniture and decoration for the exhibition Heirat und Hausrat (Marriage and Household Goods) organised by the Dresdener Werkstätten für Handwerkskunst (Dresden Handicraft Workshops). Margaret Macdonald contributed textiles to the room.

Authorship: Five drawings by Mackintosh for the bedroom were in his possession at the time of his death. Photographs of the exhibited room were published under his name in Deutsche Kunst und Dekoration and Innendekoration. 1
