M346 Design for alterations to a garage in Cheyne Walk, Chelsea

Mackintosh made two measured sketches of an existing, apparently two-storey, garage located not far from his Chelsea studio in Glebe Place. The annotated sketches appear to record existing materials and fittings as well as showing proposed alterations to walls and windows, and the installation of gas and stoves. Neither the precise location of the garage nor the client are known. It is not known whether the work was carried out.
