John Honeyman & Keppie made alterations to convert an existing Girls' Club hall and classrooms into residential premises, and renovated a second hall for the Settlement associated with Queen Margaret College. Later, as Honeyman, Keppie & Mackintosh, they carried out repairs to roofs and drains.
Authorship: John Keppie's name is recorded in the Settlement Association minutes and he appears to have been in charge of this project. However, when the practice returned to carry out work to the roofs and drains in 1902, Mackintosh was recorded in the minutes as recommending one of the contractor tenders over another.
